The Richmond Symphony’s 62nd Season marked the end of an era for its long-standing Music Director Steven Smith. The 2019/20 Season issued the marketing challenge of introducing five outstanding Music Director Candidates; the eleven-day, International Menuhin Competition 2020 hosted in Richmond, Virginia; and world-class guest artists and conductors.
The 2019/20 Season theme revolved around the notion of welcoming world-class music artists to the city or Richmond, Virginia. The branding and assets I created were used as a means of introducing symphony listeners to each Richmond Symphony Music Director candidate in an informative and personal way.
The project deliverables consisted of: Season’s branding, Presentations, Marketing emails, Print and Digital ads, Venue poster, Subscriber cards, Subscription postcard, and Subscription brochure.

Augmented Reality (AR) Component
Each Image in the brochure marked with the HP Reveal icon can be scanned to reveal hidden video content (of the Music Director Candidates, Menuhin images, and Sphinx Virtuos) allowing the viewer to experience a glimpse of a performance from each artist. The augmented reality component adds a level of sight and sound to the printed Subscription Brochure.
